Nokia N900: Major Firmware Update Out Wednesday Worldwide

Today Nokia has announced the release of firmware PR 1.2 for the N900. This awaited update has a ton of bug fixes with a few new features, listed below. This major release is avaliable Wednesday 26th May worldwide with a UK release today (Tuesday) though as of yet I have not seen any indiction on my phone of an avaliable update. Apple unveils iPhone OS4

Today, Apple unveiled its 4th generation of its iPhone OS, due to be out this summer for the iPhone and iPod touch, and this fall for the iPad.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs said that OS 4 would include 7 new features, which includes the long awaited addition of multitasking.
Users can now double tap the home button, which brings up a “dock” along the bottom that shows the user the currently running applications.

[REVIVED] Unboxing [Pics]: Samsung YP-P3

I know this is quite old, yeah, already uploaded these pictures on facebook and the now-defunct “Samsung Zone” last year.
For anyone without background knowledge of this gadget: I bought the Samsung YP-P3 PMP last year March (2009). Location of purchase was in Best Buy (Dundas St. & Yonge St. / Right beside Eaton Center) in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Why? I wanted to “immediately” replace my dying Samsung YP-Z5. I can tell you Samsung had good customer service for the YP-P3 until their last firmware (version 2.20) on July 2009.

Nokia E71 and E66 owners finally get their free Ovi Maps Navigation

A few months back Nokia announced they stopped charging for their Ovi Maps GPS navigation software and are going to offer it for free on most phones. Today they have finally released an update for their E71 and E66 business phones which updates the software to provide turn by turn navigation for free.
